The Directorate General for Enterprise (DGE) is a central government department under the control of the Minister of the Economy and Finance. The DGE’s mission is to develop competitiveness and growth for companies of all sizes, in the manufacturing, digital, small-scale industry, trade and services sectors. In conjunction with the National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC), it has been a driving force behind the implementation of policies to support the development of the video games industry, the Video Games Tax Credit (CIJV).

SELL
Promote video games. Inform. Protect.
SELL is France's national organisation representing video game publishers and software manufacturers and has twenty-five members. SELL promotes and defends the collective interests of video game publishers in different domains where their products are used and within the different professional, economic or legal boundaries concerning them, contributing to the market's structure (ratings, promotion of the profession, anti-piracy, press, etc.) and its recognition by all professionals, public authorities and consumers. SELL supports the PEGI European standard, a rating system for video game content that provides reliable information that is easy to understand on the game's packaging. SELL represents the digital leisure industry's commitment to responsibility. The Chairwoman of SELL is Julie Chalmette and the General Delegate is Nicolas Vignolles.
SNJV
Promotion, growth and competitiveness of video game industry in France.
The Video Games Union is the professional union representing French video game production companies and publishers as well as entities supporting production activities in France and partners in the creation of video games. The union seeks to enable production companies established in France to speed up their development and raise their competitiveness on the international market. The SNJV also brings together video games industry training institutions within the video games schools network.
